Wayne DunsfordBroadcast Text International has recruited former BBC Director of Channels and former JimJam General Manager Wayne Dunsford to act as Managing Director International.

Mr Dunsford has served on the board of Directors at BTI for the past two years but is now taking up an executive position within the company and will be responsible for leading BTI's successful International Operations and Dubbing teams. Wayne Dunsford has a proven track record as a Sales and Commercial Director and General Manager in the broadcasting, cable and satellite business. He has 18 years of experience working at the BBC, building new business and developing new products and channels internationally. More recently, he has been responsible for the international launch and roll-out of successful kids channel, JimJam.

On his appointment to BTI, Dunsford said: "I am delighted to be joining the BTI team and very much look forward to expanding all aspects of the business. I have known and worked with BTI for many years and I have always respected your professionalism, attention-to-detail and desire to deliver the best possible service to clients."

Mr Dunsford will head up UK operations for both dubbing and subtitling.

Mr Dunsford will join BTI in April and will be stationed at BTI’s West London offices, located in the popular media centre of Chiswick Park, just a stone’s throw away from major broadcasters such as Discovery Networks, Disney Channel and SBS Broadcasting.
